Hi Feedbucket team,
We really enjoy using Feedbucket. It makes it very easy for our clients and colleagues to leave feedback, and the whole flow works smoothly.
There’s one feature we’re missing that would make our workflow even better: the ability to add an extra “Dev” URL to a project, for example a local or development environment.
The situation now
Feedback can currently only be loaded on the staging environment. When we want to resolve feedback, we work on our local/dev site, but we can’t see the feedback there. That means we have to switch between staging and our local environment, which costs time and makes it easy to miss context.
What we’d like
  • An option per project to add an additional “Dev” URL (for example localhost, *.test, or a dev subdomain)
  • Existing feedback from staging shown as an overlay on the dev site, so we can see exactly where each item belongs
  • The ability to resolve feedback or change its status directly from the dev environment
Why this helps
  • Faster resolution: we fix and close feedback in the same place we’re coding
  • Less switching between environments
  • Fewer mistakes, because we see feedback in the right place on the page while working on it
Is this something you’re considering, or is there already a workaround we’ve missed?
Thanks in advance!
